Hi i have read the info about eucalyptus trees from previous. I have one and it is losing its bark i have been told that it is dying and needs to be chopped down, is it usual for the bark to come off? It is a very big tree i wonder if my neighbour has poisoned it?!"

Eucalyptus naturally sheds it's bark but sometimes branches do die off. Maybe the harsh winter we've had has damaged it. It happened with mine so I had the dead parts removed, the rest of the tree pruned & it grew again - very quickly!
