My neighbour is away and has asked me to water plants in his greenhouse etc..when I went round yesterday to be shown what to water the doors were closed.
When I went round tonight after he has gone away the doors were left open..
So what are the rules -do you keep the doors closed all the time etc..
One tip is....if the plants leaves look limp and feel slack they need a drink of water, but if the soil is very wet, leave alone. Warm sunny days they may need watering twice a day, a spray will help if you`re not sure.
I dont have a greenouse but I would imagine you keep the doors closed at night to keep it warm in there and open them for some air in the day - that is if its warm..
Thank you all -neighbour is back tomorrow -due to the bad weather up here (derbyshire) kept the door closed all day -all plants look healthy (sunflowers and tomatoes mainly) and I haven't over watered..
