I have been growing strawberries in a tub,strong plant and lots of fruit but are not as sweet as I would have expected, is there different varieties or is it my compost?

Yes there are different varieties Try and find a gardener that has strawberry plants because very soon they will be sending out runners making new plants that need a good home Last year we composited about 50 plants
