Shoot the mare? Seriously, you won`t, sorry but many try but it will come and come.

I agree with carlton sadly. It goes back to prehistoric days apparently. We tried for years in our 1st house and never managed to get rid of it.

We recently visited the National Coalmining Museum near Wakefield Yorks and during the guided tour underground our guide pointed out the roots of "Mares Tail" which had penetrated the roof of the tunnel. So,you have no chance !
