Gluten free recipe with potato

Some months ago, on Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall (I think that's his name) programme River Cottage, someone made a wheat free cake using mashed potato.
I would be grateful if anyone has this recipe, I have lost mine.

this sounds super, will be trying it this week. Has anyone any other tried and tested gluten free recipes, it is always difficult and shop bought are beyond my means
