I grew Sante as a Maincrop last year - They were excellent and best yield for a long time
King Edward and Maris Piper. You cannot go wrong with those two as they are ideal for Boiling, Roasting or Deep frying. My Grandfather grew them every Year and he always had good crops. Plenty of Manure don't forget :-))
Foremost for salad potatoes they melt in your mouth divine, Pink fir apple also very tasty they stay nice however late you dig them.
Maris Piper with well rotted manure or you`ll get scab on the tubers.
Desiree or Chantelle ...
Home Guard is an excellent First Early.
You have probably bought your seed potatoes now ,but if not a superb early one is Sharpes Express
