I have open fireplaces and burn all combustibles - to the horror of Abers & son.

tree surgeons have to pay to get rid of the trees so most are happy to give the logs for free. trannies brother has one of these fires going 24/7 his house is lovely and warm al the time

I'd love an open fire, nothing like it is there? Can't beat toast made on an open fire too, far better than a toaster :D

Plumbing shop was horrified at me doing the work....either I get pneumonia or burn down the house!
