I have a 5 year old paeony tree ,bought as a young sapling, which obviously did not flower in the first year, had 1 enormous flower 2nd year, 2 enormous flowers in third year, but none at all in year 4. I have it planted in one of those Chimney-type pots, and wondered if this was the possible cause, or can anyone give me a reason for not blooming? It is healthy and has already broken into leaf right now.

Probably needs feeding. Give it some Tomoato feed to help flower bud formation, now and some Maxicrop (or like) afterwards.
