vegetable or Lamb samosas - with mint and yoghurt sauce

Minestrone soup with croutons

Mains: Chicken foristiere - Chicken flambed in brandy, cooked in white wine with smoked bacon, baby onions, wild mushrooms (or not if your McFluff) lemon thyme and tarragon and a little garlic
OR
Lasagne - Best minced steak cooked with onions and garlic, in a rich roasted tomato sauce with red wine basil and oregano, layered with pasta and a creamy bechamel sauce topped with four cheeses and baked until golden, served with salad and garlic bread
OR
Pork and apple pasties with smokey bacon and sage OR Pork with stilton and walnuts pasty
served with hand cut chips or new potatoes and veg

Puds: Apple and blackberry crumble with velvety smooth custard or clotted cream ice cream
OR
Profiteroles, light as a feather, filled with whipped cream and topped with a thick chocolate sauce
OR
Creme brulee - baked cream toped with a caramel shell for you to break open

i'm getting samosa's, curry, steak, dahl and cheese and i'll be bl00dy grateful apparently :-)

If it's thin soup with big chunks ... I'll have it.

If it's thick soup with small chunks ... I'll have the samosas.

Then I'll have the lasagne, and cheese.

Actually, I'm being really greedy, because I've been out for an early lunch already. And yes ... we did order wine at 11.00am !!!
