2 -1 for brazil
full time
Oh, right.

On the radio, they thought Brazil would be scoring for fun.

The whole tournament is becoming a total bore, isn't it ?
the early matches usually are JJ-teams afraid of getting beat in the first match (would leave them with a battle to qualify)--those wee chinese blokes did some running about there
hi cazz
JJ - talk about what you know about.

The tournament lasts a month, no-one wants to lose their first game. Gets interesting in the knockout stages...
You never asked Prudie ... I have a couple of chainsaws .. and very sympathetic with trees!
hi beejay xx

I felt sorry for the koreans, they looked genuinly scared of the brazillians, it didnt help that they were all so small.

Regrettably too late and in all seriousness I'm quite upset at what's gone in my garden this evening when I wasn't there! :-x
Oh dear .. was this a local gardener?
I look after a lovely garden wood for a friend. 60ft Birch, 2x 40ft. Chestnuts, Oak, S Chestnut, 2x Dark leaved Maples, 2x Beech, old W Willow with a trunk about 8ft. around it, and various other small stuff. Took me 2 days of cutting last autumn, and logged up the lot. About 2 years worth to burn! Just thinning out!

No OH and our neighbour. Meant to be removing a small silver birch that rubbed and squeaked against a fence plus a couple of feet off the tops of some others. Result complete removal of birch, 3 twisted willows, a laurel, swathes of virginia creeper and a flowering cherry. All reduced to stumps. Just thinning out??
Does sound like they want a bit crazy. You must have been mad : (

Yep .. Most are huge. Too much cover.
I was cutting boughs off a between 5in and a foot thick.

Having a nice few days restoring/stripping some 1750 panelled doors with iron/brass rimlocks, and some Victorian window shutter sets (which are going back on the inside of that old window I replaced)
My daughter has a chainsaw...........now she IS scary.
To keep her husband in order?
Like Kathy Bates in Misery, is she? lol

Oh yeah ... must have slept through that sledging bash the other month too
I won't buy a chain saw, I do enough damage with telescopic and ratchet loppers secateurs and shears.... When I'm on a mission I can fill a roll of green bags in an hour.....There are some overgrown leyllandii at the end of the garden that look pretty tempting as it happens
You can't be too brutal with a leylandii. I hate them.
I do too, but they were there when we moved in and its a rented property, I will be topping them at around 2m when I can borrow a safer ladder setup. Housemate loves them as they completely hide the house opposite and damp down the noise from thier kids
