Has anyone here ever had to take a Predictive Index (PI) test?
It's an American thing but some UK companies use them when recruiting or to develop existing employees. I just had to do one for first time & the company based their entire viewpoint of me on the results, which they would not let me have a copy of (which bugs me in itself, I hate knowing that people hold info about me that I don't!)
What are peoples views & experiences of this? I'd be interested to hear...
I've had to do similar in the past in assessment centres, part of group selection processes - they want to make sure that people are leaders or team workers etc and will fit with their company ethic. I don't think it's a guaranteed way of identifying traits, the people interpreting them need to be trained properly.
