I am thinking of laying some laminate flooring in my bathroom. I have found some that is suitable (ie. waterproof etc - costs a packet!). But what I'm now wondering is with laminate flooring you have to leave a 10mm gap around all edges, but that isn't going to look too nice around the basin/toilet. Does anyone know of a way round this or what can be used to make it look a tidier job?
Thanks
You could get some beading. but it would take a lot of work to get it to fit - how about silicone sealant? It should be flexible enough to cope with expension in the laminate
When we moved into our flat, there was what we thought laminate flooring in bathroom and toilet but on further inspection it's actually just a very good lino! I never would have known and it was someone who pointed it out to me so you could even have a think about that option...just an idea, but good luck!
