Please help ! Gloss worktop or textured - what are the pros and cons ?

Gloss will show up the slightest scratches. If you have under-unit lighting, it can reflect off the gloss surface - sort of 'in your face'. You don't have any of these problems with a matt textured surface. It will feel nicer to the touch than gloss, too.
Deffo not gloss for me! Shows all the marks that aren't even there!
you will be buffing gloss every time you look at it -its a nightmare dont go there
i wouldn't have a textured one either though, they can be a blooming nuisance to get properly clean. personally i'd have a smooth matt finish one.
I've got black granite flooring in the wetroom.................it drives the cleaner nuts!!
