leather sofa starting creaking
6 Answers
I have a leather sofa which has developed a creaking noise. It is treated with respect. No kids jump on it etc. It is quite a heavy sofa and I think I may have pulled it out from the front underneath and it's caused it to creak.
How do I go about finding someone to look at it. I dont want to buy a new one as this one is still in excellent condition apart from the creak.

Turn it on it's back and see if the feet have become loose, it may just be a matter of tightening the nuts or bolts that hold them on. If internal joints are loose it may be possible to re -glue them with polyurethane wood glue which expands as it sets to give a snug joint.
