Does anyone know how to adjust a Macdee DVC0300 lavatory flushing system?

When the lavatory is flushed the cistern empties however it does not cut off. Subsequently the water that comes into refill the cistern flows straight out.

Any advice on how to adjust the flushing system would be appreciated.
