Yes you can buy curved corners, we did this. Take out the door and frame, fix the curves, and plaster over.
^ you say you don't want to plaster but you would need to, to cover the joints if nothing else.

hi thanks for your help ,?? any ideas where to buy,b&Q etc thanks
As a tall person I implore you not to do it :)

(hopefully "the builder" will see this and provide an answer for you)
It doesn't make the doorway any shorter, chuck - just round, at the sides.
knocka, we got ours at Wickes http://www.wickes.co....rs/icat/plastaccarch/

boxtops, thanks for the link, ill chech it out cheers
Sorry I've only just seen this, Knockers.
Boxtops's link to arch formers is the usual way to go.
Or, make something up in MDF and fix it to the door lining. I've seen that done quite often. When it's painted in, it should look a natural part of the frame.
Chuck's point is a good one. I'm just 6' tall, but I can easily bang my head if an arch is too "Gothic"......... ie goes to a point in the middle. Chuck is 6'6", the same height as a standard doorframe.............. 6'9" in his crash helmet ;o)
builder..will you marry me ?..you talk such sense would like to have you there in a drawer for immediate use...lol
Murray ............. my little hot confection ............. thank you.... no one's ever asked me before! Mind you, I've never asked anyone either, so I guess that's fair :o(
As long as the drawer has internet access, I'm your man. It is leap year after all.
