Replacing cooker with hob and oven
I am replacing an old cooker with a separate hob and oven. The existing wiring is from an outlet with a separate oven switch. Both new items are rated for 13 amp plugs. Can I simply wire from the outlet to the oven and from there to the hob with 6mm cable. My supplier says yes but just checking. Any help would be appreciated

A simpler way would be to avoid using 6mm cable at all.
I guess you have a cooker switch above worktop, and an outlet connection below worktop level?
Either replace the outlet connector with a double socket, or two fused spurs.
What size is your existing cooker fuse/breaker?
