Side Hangings/curtains

Do you like them or as my friend has now no hangings but wooden shutters over her windows and loves them.

I think it depends on the style of your home and furnishings, I like the warm feel that curtains give.

I like my curtains. If I had wooden shutters with our wooden floor, it would be like living in a cabin. :-)

Ooh I love shutters!! Nearly every house here has them. I went as far as to get measured up and get a quote. For 3 Windows at the front of my house, I was quoted over £1000.
Curtains it is.

I’d love shutters (not blinds or venetian blinds) but I don’t think they would suit my house and would be a devil to keep clean.
