Can anyone recommend a firm mattress topper that is not too expensive?
My bed, which is only 18 months old, has been used as a trampoline by my two granddaughters and the springs have sagged. This is making me wake up with a sore back.
I’d love a Tempur mattress but they are too expensive at £1500. Thanks.
Looking through those reviews suggests the Silentnight Airmax might meet your needs. (£25.99 single, £30.99 double on Amazon, where 80% of 281 reviews give it either 4 or 5 stars but a smaller number of people don't like it ):

Chrissa this is from Which:
There has been a tie for the best mattress topper brand in this year's survey: The White Company and Ikea both get the highest customer score - with 77% a piece. Hot behind them is M&S and John Lewis
Funnily enough, we were on John Lewis on Monday looking and feeling their mattress toppers with a serious view to buying one. Having looked and felt their whole range we decided not to bother.
Most (unless they’re memory foam or tempura) are just like thick duvets. We don’t want memory foam or tempura.
We’re going to invest in a new mattress instead.
Yes. I think you’re all right. There’s a Dreams Bedding Co about 30 miles from me. I think a trip down town is called for, where I can try them all out.
