Black Marks On Washing :-(

Help!
Mrs T just dragged out a load of washing from the washing machine and it has black marks on it.
She often uses washing machine cleaner in it.
Any ideas? Bleach? Salt? Caustic?

Lots of tips here. Have you checked inside the folds. Of the seal?

Soap build up. Run a cycle with empty machine. Clean drum, door all round with damp cloth. Clean soap drawer pull out and wash well especially underside

Agree with running an empty cycle, but do it at the hottest setting.

Look in the powder/conditioner dispenser as black mould grows very easily on the inside and bottom of the dispenser . Its easily removed with a bleach spray.

Stop using conditioner. That’s what we did with our latest washing machine and havent had a problem since with black bits or black build up in the drawers.
Haven’t missed the conditioner either so have saved a few bob.
We wash everything at 30o.
