This is how my day started:-

8.15 Rescue kittens from hall
8.16 Feed kittens
8.16.30 Remove one kitten from hall and put on food dish
8.17 Remove other kitten from hall
8.20 Stop kittens chewing electric cable
8.21 Remove a kitten from book case with one kitten clung to neck
8.24 Remove other kitten from chewing my hair
8.36 Remove kittens from table
8.37 Apologise to clerks for gobbledook email sent by kittens
8.49 Stop one kitten hanging herself on blind
8.52 Clean out kittens' poo tray
8.57 Clean out kittens' poo tray again after fresh poo delivered
9.30 Retrieve one kitten from hall
9.35 Fetch other kitten from upstairs
9.36 Sit with kittens and try and get them to sleep
10.00 Play with kittens in order to get them tired
10.25 Stop playing with kittens - they are tired - YAY - phone call in 5 mins
10.29 Kittens wake from power nap and decide to create havoc
10.30 Mummy moves to another room to do important call WITHOUT KITTENS
11.20 Mummy returns to kittens and clears up another dismantled toy
11.30 Attempt to retrieve important document deleted by kittens.
11.34 Kittens spot a fly - bedlam and hell ensues because they can see it and I can't
11.44 Tell a Judge that the "Order is agreugusldkfjsldkfjslfkdls"
11.56 Chase escaped kittens round house. Three times.
12.10 It's quiet! Have they died? Check kittens are still breathing.
12.17 Kitten lands on my back..........

I love em to bits but my they are an exhausting pair of absolute nutters.

That was just this morning. Kittens are meant to sleep 23 hours a day - my two are obviously broken. They have two settings - coma and supersonic.

But they are SOOOO adorable. I haven't laughed this much in ages.

They have been here nearly 3 weeks now and are clearly settling in!!!!

I remember having four kittens for a few weeks. Two were ours and we stupidly offered to look after my parents two for a cou.ple of weeks. They were all excellent at stripping wallpaper!!

But who could not love them

It is access to the outside, Tilly and they need to be kept in for a little while yet. They need to be fixed before they go out and they are still very little. Although we do not use that door much - people sometimes come to it so it is a risk and there are places they can hide. It is also access to the upstairs, which is not quite kitten proofed yet, but is coming on so they will shortly be allowed to roam. For the first month, their room is the snug - thereafter they will have free run downstairs (apart from the kitchen where they may get hurt) and once they are happy with downstairs, they will be able to go upstairs as much as they want. By Christmas they will have the entire house at their disposal.

Plus, they are so little and so silly, I need to be able to supervise them for now.

I did post one shouty kitten. Photos are difficult because they dont stop. But I have just taken one of my little friend next to me. I'll try and upload it.

Kittens look as if they are small, fragile little bundles. They are so beautiful and ao innocent looking all you want to do is protect them and cuddle them all day. They even smell adorable.

However, they are tough, mischievous, evil little destruction machines.

Oh they are very bright!!! I am not sure if they know they can get out that way, but I won't take the risk.

Last night I was attempting to take a pic of one who snuggled up on a blanket on the corner of the sofa. And her sister photobombed it. I think this is a stunning pic of a gorgeous baby.
