i couldnt think f anything worse than bringing my daughter to work.  she's 12 and would just spend the whole day moaning about me to my colleagues! then telling me all i do is talk to people all day. Luckily, she doesnt have security clearance so wouldnt get in :)

I think it's a great idea - sitting in the weaving shed after school waiting for my mum to finish her shift operating 12 looms really convinced me I didn't want to work in a noisy factory!

We used to have this nonsense inflcited on us when I worked at BT.

The child was not allowed to sit with their parent, they were sent somewhere else in the building.

I inherited one sulky youth for an entire day, who was clearly not remotely interested in anything I showed or told him.

As he left to meet his dad, I asked him if he was interested in a job in admin, and he advised me that his ambition was actually to drive a lorry!
