UPVC Window Sealant

What's the best way to clean the sealant on UPVC window frames. It's turned a horrible creamy-brown colour (possibly from cigarette smoke) and some of the sealant in a couple of rooms has gone mouldy. I was thinking of using a diluted bleach solution, but thought it may be damaging. Many thanks.

I've not tried it, but I wonder is one of those sprays made for cleaning plastic garden furniture would be of any help. Doris
