double glazed window will not open

the key works and turns perfectly as does the latch but the double glazed window will not open or budge in the slightest , ive tried other windows with key locks in ther house and they all open but why not this one?-any tips /tricks

Hi Tali, If the double glazing is old and the window has'nt been opened for some time the rubber sealing gasket can sometimes stick to the profile. The only way is to try giving the opener a sharp tap.
Try changing the window handle with one you know that works. If you are still having problems then the locking mechanism has gone and you will have to get an Engineer Al
