gloss paint stains on clothes
5 Answers
Hi, I am new here and don't know whether this question has been asked before. If so, my apologies. I have just started to paint my patio tubs in royal blue gloss paint and have managed to get a few spots onto my trousers and top. I wore old ones naturally, but would still like to get the paint off.
As it's a water-based paint, I thought cold water dabbed onto the spots would work. It hasn't. Any advice gratefully received. Thanks in advance.

Anyhow I have tried the Oxy Action stuff and the stains are less obvious than they were, but haven't really gone. I've also rubbed them with a Vanish bar, which says on the packet that gloss paint stains might be impossible to remove! I think I shall just regard this as experience now and only use those clothes for diy jobs (which I don't normally have to tackle, as my hubby does them!)
