dont know what section to put this in so will try here first. i have an lcd tv that is mounted on a flat wall. i did want to put a wall mounted modern electric fire under neath it, but thought maybe i shouldnt because of any rising heat from it could damage the tv, but i've seen it on so many property programmes. is it safe to do this does anyone know?

i have heard that the heat drains the colour out of the tv. sorry its very vauge but i cant give any info as to why
