Hi. Can anyone recommend a product or method for cleaning stainless steel kitchen appliances without leaving smears and streaks.
A small thing I know but it is driving me mad! Any tips greatly appreciated. Thanks.

but the cream/gel format rather than the spray and it brings my stainless steel up a treat! I have also heard that baby oil is good as a finish after cleaning it.
However you need to ensure that your appliances actually are stainless steel and not something else, as I used this cif on all my appliances and it made everything look lovely except the cooker, which I later found out wasn't steel!

Thanks for your comments.
Chazza: that is exactly what I bought (spookily enough from Tesco's too) but it still leaves a streaky finish.
Tickledtrout: Your method gives the best results but still visible smears.
Laura: I have tried Mr Muscle window cleaner but still smears.
Maybe my appliances are not stainless steel but I am pretty sure that they are. I'll check the instructions.
I might just have to live with the situation but it strongly conflicts with my Virgoan nature. Thanks again.
