I have a small box room, which my son occupied, he painted it light blue, want to change it now for a guest room, i fancy a funky citrus colour,or even a jewel colour as accent wall, worried that these colours may make the room look smaller!!!!

id go for lime greeen and cirus twist yellow with a hint of mahagony cream.

Each to their own, but if it used regularly as a guest room why not ask your guests what they would like? Guest rooms are usually fairly calmly decorated to suit most tastes.

Or ask yourself if you would like to wake up to such lively colours!

Hi Prangy like ure suggestion, will go down to the paint place and get a few samples, lemon and lime sounds refreshing, one of the ladies at work has teal and brown, which is lovely, but i think it would make the room look smaller!!!
hmmm yeah... i meant like the window ledgings... the lime and yellow walls will give a great refreshing start to anybodies morning! - and the natural mahogony defined ledging etc would give a woody earthy feel to the room :)

that my 2p's worth lol
