What does integrated mean .?

I am looking for a new free standing fridge freezer 54cm, all the ones I like ,are either built in or integrated, can someone help and tell me what integrated means please.

err what would you want those features in a fridge is it too join up with a freezer?

Thank you for clearing that up Pickle,you've explained it so clearly,now I know I have to go for just free standing. Thats if I can find a 54cm one, there aren't many about. I had a Candy before and that was just rubbish, I''ll keep looking,
