just wondering how you work out how much paint you need for a job when in metre sq for example 214msq ?

no idea, but a tin of paint will state its coverage on it.

Hi, as sara3 says pick your paint then see what area it says it will cover on the tin then divide the area you want to cover by that figure and hey presto that should give you the answer and tell you how many tins you will need. Always best to allow a bit extra though just to be on the safe side especially if you get the paint made up.
