Anyone got any brilliant ideas how to get rid of awful smell in washing machine please. I have done suggestions I found on google..ie. high temp cycle with powder detergent, bicarb, bleach, and am now out of ideas. I have scrubbed dispenser, and the jets above it......... , and all around where the dispenser drawer is.

You would be surprised at the difference in weight when you compare the old pipe to the new, and the difference is due to all the gunge collected in there. If you can't locate a new pipe or it's an odd size then remove old pipe and soak it in a cleaning solution and keep bending it to open up the ribs and flush it through regularly.

This question crops up over&over again and many answers given it would be nice if subscribers who have resolved thier problem shared thier result.
One answer I have given is that the ribbed outlet pipe needs to have a bend in it to be higher than the level of the sink outlet, this will stop any water{washing up or whatever} returning back down the washing machine outlet pipe and going into the drum sump and and going static and smelly.
