Leaking electric towel rail
I have an electric towel rail (fitted before I moved in) and have recently noticed an oily substance on floor under. Can I fix this easily or do I need a professional. Is it dangerous or indicate that it could be?

If as you say it is leaking, switch it off and don't use it again. If enough of the oil leaks out, the heating element will be exposed and could be dangerous, and it will not get warm.
Is is doubtful if this can be repaired, best just to have it replaced.
