new england?
wanting to create a 'new england' look in my bedroom. anyone know of any tips i could do! sounds weird, but my inspiration is from these two pictures: http://www.vintagevacations.co.uk/shackpics.htm (the pictures with the union jack flag thing is the ones im liking!).
anyway, just if that helps atall i kind of want a sort if vintagey look going on too!
any websites, shops, tips, hints etc would be great!

LIGHT............. big, big, light, natural light that is - as much window as you can :o)
The colours should be fairly easy............. purists may argue, but match the look with Shaker style painted furniture - but keep it simple and uncluttered.
