I f I put a reflective material such as tin foil between my radiators and the walls that they are mounted on would there be any beneficial warmth gain in my rooms? Or would the heat just "bounce" between the rad. and the wall in the semi-enclosed space?? Thanks!!

Thanks tambourine for the quick reply but have YOU noticed any warmth increase???
yes, its more noticeable in bedrooms as they rely on radiators only. Just slip sheets of tin foil between rads & walls.
suggest you use before/after thermometer......I would be interested in result?

Thanks again,I'll give it a try.I'll do the bedrooms first,as they seem to need it the most, and if it works I'll go the whole hog!!!
