dashboard door light

hi all
have a 04 plate astra
two days ago the light on the dash came on to say a door or boot is open but they were all shut
my first thought was dirt/snow is on the little button on the inside of the door , you know the one that when you shut your door it depresses to say your door are shut????
guess what no buttons?
also the inreriors light goes out when all doors are shut but light stays on
any ideas welcome thanks

Look at the Catch on the door pillar, there is a BLACK button that moves, spray WD40 into the recces when operating the button. do this on all doors.
