Karndean floors - recommended?
4 Answers
Hi
I am considering having Karndean in my kitchen and hall rather than real wood (too much hard work) or tiles (thought it would be too cold as I can't afford the underfloor heating too) therefore Karndean is an option.
It looks good but having read some reviews an amount of people have said the tiles lift up and it's simply very, very expensive lino - and looks like it too?!
Does anyone have Karndean and would give me some advice?
Thanks.

We have this one rather than the wood effect.

Hi Trudytrudy- I have just had Kardnean flooring put down in two bathrooms & my kitchen,The bathrooms are grey marble effect & the kitchen American oak.The kitchen & downstairs bathroom get pretty heavy use & so far need very little cleaning or careThe only problem is that I have new purpletowels & the fluff shows on the pale floor!!.I'm really pleased with them & find them warm underfoot even when the heating is off.I would certainly recommend kardnean to anyone.any little marks come off easily with Bar-kKepers friend.Hope this helps you in your decision
