Help Needed...

I've somehow gotten black ink on my mums red couch...she is going to kill me, any ideas on how I can get it out???

Any advice appreciated x

Ink is a dye and will permanantly stain the leather.

If the ink stain is fairly fresh, you need to clean it ASAP with hot soapy water.

If the stain is dried in, I recommend you enquire about flights to Australia lol

Try Googling. A lot of sites recommend perfume. ( it's the alcohol in it ) but try on an area that's hidden first. Also sometimes it's better to come clean (!) to your mother and let her deal with the stain. My son did this when he kicked a glass of red wine over carpet and I got the stain out . It might not have come out if he had mucked about with it. Be brave and lots of slow tears help. :o(

Gonna try the hairspray now...please god that works..my brother tried isopropyl alcohol but that didn't do anything...would putting hairspray on it now affect it for the worst?

I usually sit on the couch but nowhere near where the ink is..he's older so he's always quick to blame me.
Can barely notice it now..We used the following, in this order haha:
Isopropyl Alcohol
"Some leather cleaning solution that came with the couch"...(it wasn't any good)
Aloe Vera Antibacterial Hand gel
Hairspray...

You can barely notice it now...just need to get some red polish now...buff it up a bit :)
