I just laid my brand new wooden floor, hard wood, oak planks, finished (with varnish). Now I wanted to put on top of it some wax as a protection layer. What would you recommend? Or maybe it would be an overkill?

Please advise. Thanks

You could wax it Jj, but you'd have to keep waxing forever................ what I mean is, you can't go back to floor lacquer again without stripping it back to bare timber again.
This is all I ever use ............. so hard-wearing, it's probably bombproof!
