Mr Ask is a lovely man really, but he has accidentally swiped a full mug of hot tea on to my newish off-white lounge carpet. I've already tried 1001 carpet cleaner on the stain, but it hasn't shifted although it's still wet.
Anyone out there with a solution? Please.

Thanks bednobs I'll look out for it tomorrow, the carpet has only been down for 3 to 4 months I'm a bit put out about it.

It's the milk in the tea too gran, that might make it whiff - I hope you get it out.
I remember as a child spilling orange juice on our neighbour's new white sheepskin rug - ooops.....

Bludgeon him and bury him in the garden.

It won't shift the stain on the carpet, but you won't half feel a whole lot better about it.
