We are tinking of putting a 'Under the Counter' freezer out in our garage. We were looking at having a Frost Free type but the sales lady said that because of the ambient temperature, a Frost Free would not perform properly i.e still frost up in the winter. Would this be true thanks for any help
Quite frankly I think you have been told a load of rubbish because the inside will be at much the same temperature in the garage as anywhere else (otherwise there is something wrong with the thing) and your use of it will be no different (contents, opening and closing). My advice is to ignore the shop and buy yourself a used but recent (less than 5 years old) freezer at a saving and live happily ever after.
If got a small five drawer one in the corner of my garge and it works at treat - if I remember correctly there was a thread about this topic a while back so you may get more opinions if you type in your question in the search space at the top of this page and select 'site'.
