Valor Hamlet is a pretty one .. just fitted one of those for a customer. Flue out top or out of rear and then up.
Scandanavian makes are pretty good. Morso particularly.
Steel are cheaper to kake .. and don't retain heat for anywhere near as long as cast iron .. so far as I am concerned.
A lot of the cheaper ones (like the 200 quid ones on eBay) are pretty naff quality (so far as I'm concerned) and they are so small inside, one cannot use decent size logs .. they have to be cut down. The ash pans are so tiny too.
So make sure the space inside on the grate is enough, and make sure it has an airwash system built in. And don't go too oversized .. they can cook the room!
