surveys on properties
I will be purchasing a property soon hopefully. I will be buying cash - what is the minimum type of survey it is advisable to have. Obviously as there is no Mortgage it is as requirement of the purchase for that reason, however, I would like to have one carried out that will highlight any obvious problems. Would a full structural survey be necessary, and if so any advice on who to employ to do such a thing? Also I am buying a Maisonette, and am not entirely sure of the rules/regs to look out for with regard to this.
