Hey didn't want to high jack another thread.....

Yes it damn well is!!!!
Though slowly, this is a council property so the major works are down to them.. British Gas offered to do the cavity wall insulation for free but the council won't let them...they would rather put my house on a waiting list for their contractors to do. I was due a new front door last year but when I asked why id hadn't been done I was told there was new rules, the 'list' I was on is now defunct and I need to re-apply for a new one! Oh thanks for telling me that!
Anyway, a mate whos a carpenter is coming to look at it for me on Monday and I'm also getting the council to sort out the windows after tqo handles decided to break in a week!
And then it snowed last night!!!!!

Ah righto Lisa, didn't know it was a council house, I understand know why all the hanging about to get the jobs done, hope your mate can sort the door out for you. and what do ya mean, Yes it damn well is !!!!! lol.
Going to visit my 83 year old aunt now, so wish me luck !. x

Have a nice time with your aunt, I only have my brother and miss that extended family thing...though I do remember hating it at the time....lol
