Pixilating on Sky following aerial extension
1 Answers
My local engineer recently extended my aerial and dual sky aerial to allow me to reposition my TV and Sky+HD box inside the house. The jointing is outside and appears to be a metal connector that is now wrapped in tape.
However, since then I have been experiencing some pixilation and loss of signal messages on recorded programmes.
Before I contact him, do any helpful ABers have any suggestions?
Many thanks.

Pixallation usuaully means a poor signal either due to bad weather or badly or poorly positioned aerial or dish.
I would not have thought you would have got it on recorded programs and not got it on live programs, unless the programs were recorded with the "new" dish position or during bad weather.
