Have any ABer's done this?

I Looked into Estate Agents fees and they are pretty high. I've also looked at sites like Tepilo and Ebay. Any advice would be greatly appreciated (thank you x)

You'd use a solicitor or conveyancer anyway, all they need to know is the other solicitors details. I bought my last house through a private ad in the local paper.

You are considering / thinking about listing your house on Ebay?
I bought my last house through a private sale. When we agreed the sale they we just exchanged solicitors' details.

Brilliant Buenchico.....I was very nervous about doing this, I thought it would be rather challenging.. I think I'm going to give it a go. Estate Agents want 2% of the value of the house!!

Yes society, you can list your house on E-bay using their Classified Ad option which cost £35 for 28 days

Thanks craft, is it that easy with the solicitors? I've lived in this house for a very, very long time and have no idea what I'm going really :o(

I just thought it must be more complicated than that craft going by the size of the EA fees.
