One of my smaller double glazed units (about 12" x 20") has condensation inbetween the glass. Is there any way that this can be removed without replacing the window itself?

You can just replace the glass unit not very costly? This is the only way and the cheapest.
Wot they ^^^^ said, you don't need to replace the frame
Only just seen this post stargazer, but the condensation between the glass means that the unit has failed. Check your paperwork, as if it is still under guarantee, and the unit failed due to faulty manufacture, it should be replaced free of charge.
