But my landlord has not issued me with a section 21 notice. What are my rights?

I don't know what section 21 is - but why do you have to move, is it the end of your tenancy term? if so, I've never had any sort of notice when the tenancy term expires.
sorry, just seen your earlier thread below in Related posts. I still don't understand why you have to leave if the property is being sold - couldn't you have stayed on and just transferred to the new landlord?

I havent even asked that. We have been informed that the landlord wants to sell, but nothing was mentioned about us as sitting tenants. Section 21 is an eviction notice.
Has he given a reason for not supplying a Section 21 ?
Have a look on Shelter's website, they are very helpful and informative on all housing issues.
you don't need an eviction notice if you are coming to the end of your tenancy agreement
Your first post was 3rd December, so he does seem to have given you plenty of notice.
Think you have to have two months notice. If he gave you this at the beginning of December for the end of January that would be right.
