Does anyone know if its possible to remove details of my house from sites like Zoopla?

Not all properties are listed but I couldn't see how to register mine as ex-directory as it were.

is your house for sale?
Since Land Registry records are in the public domain, I doubt that it's possible to remove a property from the type of sites that you refer to. Anyone who knows your address can download the title register to your property for £3, telling them who you are, what you paid for the property, how much money you borrowed on the mortgage and the name of the lender.

No my house is not for sale but my purchase date (over 15yrs ago now) and price is on Zoopla. I realise the info is available for a fee, but it shouldn't be so readily published for free really, should it?

why not?

Is it anyone's business? It just satisfies the nosey and serves no purpose other than to share private financial info.

Back to the original question, does anyone know if its possible to remove my details from these sites?
The info is in the public domain, so no, I doubt it. Zoopla doesn't link the house with your (ie publish names and addresses) does it?
You can of course contact Zoopla.
in other words.....no!
aye
Well it looks like the answer is a big fat no ....... and to be honest ..... why are you so paranoid about people knowing what you paid for house 15 years ago. Surely if someone is looking to find these things out about you, then that's a sign of their shortcomings .... not your's ??
