My current fixed term tariff is coming to an end and I need to switch suppliers. This company seems to be the cheapest going by the monthly payment but I cannot see anywhere on the website the actual charges for gas and electricity per unit. If you can see it, please tell me.
I have emailed and used their webchat but still waiting
It's a trading name for Fischer Energy- their site may have prices.
There site does give quoates- so you could just put in a good estiate of your usage and see if the quote then includes teh calculations or whthe ryou can work backwards. I believe their rate are variable only so you may find they soon put them up
Yes, Bulb were mentioned on the Money Box Live yesterday on Radio 4- but look at their fixed rates only as apparently they have made a recent increase and then a second recent increase in the last few days- someone started the switch to Bulb and then got a letter saying his price was now going to go up by a significant amount so he cancelled as he was entitled to do but now finds he's in limbo between suppliers and has stick with his old expensive supplier for a bit longer. I moved to Together Energy recently- rates were best available and fixed but it's taken over two months to get my online portal running
Look for a company that has a lower daily standing charge if you don't use a lot of Power. Bulb charges 24p a day standing charge but some other companies only charge 13p.
Looking at the money saving expert forum and other reviews gives me a few worries about Economy seven. Nothing definite, but personally I would swerve.
Personally I would use a comparison site to get the best tariff from a big 6 supplier.
Hopkirk, I haven't used a 'big 6' supplier for years and saved a packet without problem.
My current supplier, Together Energy, has terrible reviews but all's been well. I'm moving because their prices will rocket when my fixed term ends.
