Our combi boiler needs replacing
How much would we expect to pay for a straight replacement ?
This is dependant on British Gas determining that our existing boiler is beyond repair today !!
They appear to charge a ridiculous �4000 + for a replacement
I would prefer to pay a local plumber to fit one - but how much is this going to cost ?

A plumber friend of mine changed mine for �850. The local plumber quoted me �1500. Still cheaper than British Gas!

I have had a quote for �1655 + vat for supplying and fitting a Condensing Combi boiler - how's that for price ?
Any makes/models to avoid ?
